I first started working with Murphy and Son on a project to enhance the analytical High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) capabilites of the research lab. Specifically the development of methods to facilitate the analysis of individual sugars and individual hop acid compounds in beer and wort.Since this project I have moved into more of an R&D role, exploring new avenues of reasearch within the brewing industry.

Postgraduate research under the supervision of Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff and Professor Michael George. Developing continuous-flow reactors for photochemical reactions in interesting media.

I took up a short role as a graduate researcher at Unic International (UK) after graduating from the University of Nottingham. This role involved the research and development of a specialised filtration system for the removal of volatile organic compounds and metal ions from paint cleaning waste.
