Served as a Mentor and Team Leader in the intensive College ACES (Achieving College Excellence and Success) summer program at Montgomery College. ACES is a partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools (26 High Schools), University System of Maryland and Montgomery College (3 campuses). The ACES partnership program is designed to get County HS students on a solid path to attend college. Performed leadership role assisting rising 11th grade HS students with: test preparation, tutoring, college applications, financial aid, college visits, transfers, and support.

Accepted into the highly selective Maryland “Summer Rise” workforce talent development educational program for rising HS juniors and seniors. Served as a special assistant to the County Executive in the County Executive office building. Worked directly for the head of Economic & Workforce Development for Montgomery County. Completed projects/tasks and attending meetings with Lily Qi (Assistant Chief Administrative Officer).
