Responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements under both IFRS and UK GAAP (individual and group company accounts, pension schemes, LLP’s and charities) and iXBRL tagging of financial statements. Regular attendance at planning and clearance meetings with clients, discussing the audit process, significant issues with recommendations for improvement and conclusions from our visits. Working as part of the on-site audit team responsible for the completion of audit work programmes and identifying weaknesses in internal control, through a selection of sampling, non-sampling and controls based testing. Also involved in the creation of annual financial statements and drafting client reports. Through this role I developed skills in planning, client relations and time management in preparation for a senior role

Key responsibilities included the reconciliation of client investments, calculation of consultant’s commission payments, assistance with preparation of personal tax returns for clients and assistance in month and year end accounting processes.
