As operations manager I oversee the facilities dept. as well as housing operations which includes, property acquisitions, creating and monitoring budgets, Writing leases and negotiating master lease properties. My duties also include determining needs, hiring employees, overseeing assignment of employees and planning staff development. I also create and implement property capital needs assessments while managing a staff of 9 technicians, two housing staff along with two first line coordinators. I Oversee a crew of 8 Technicians who maintain properties throughout the greater Seattle area. I am responsible for maintaining high standards of maintenance and repair for Compass Housing Alliance’s owned and leased properties (28 Compass properties in addition to other facilities used by the agency) while ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients and staff. My Position supports renovation and new construction projects as relates to inspection and occupancy. I also support staff in the performance of hands on work.
