Creative Kids Daycare, New Tripoli, PA May 2008 – PresentSummer Camp Counselor (Summer Job) Responsible for supervising and ensuring safety of children at daycare facility and on trips to pool, bowling, mini-golf etc. Children ranged from grades of kindergarten through seventh grade. Mostly worked with group size of 10-15 boys ranging from grades 3rd through 7th. During public outings made sure group stayed together and listened so no one would get lost. Parents and Day Care management placed children’s safety and well being in my hands.  Learned a great deal of leadership and communication skills being in charge of a large number of children making them listen and follow direction. Due to the stress of these responsibilities I have developed patient and understanding of others. Certified and trained in first aid, fire safety and water safety.

Volunteer Work Fall of 2007 - PresentThe Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley: I believe that it’s very important to give back to the community and to those less fortunate, which is why I involve myself in community service. The Miracle League of Lehigh Valley was started in 2006 to give children with mental and physical disabilities the opportunity to play baseball. I began volunteering with The Miracle League in the fall of 2007. In addition to volunteering, I raised $1,100 for the organization through a youth basketball fundraiser. It’s a great feeling to see the children so happy and to be a part of their happiness.

Wire Mesh Inc., York, PA Dec. 2010 – Jan. 2011Welder (Part time) Responsible for the assembly and welding of commercial wire mesh conveyer belts used throughout the world. Belts ranged from 10 feet up to a couple hundred feet. Performed several different types of welding to connect the various segments of wire mesh belts. Maintained complete focus and concentration on each weld for safety and quality assurance. Trained in welding. Experienced the manufacturing side of business.

CVS Pharmacy, Schnecksville, PA April 2006 – Nov. 2007Cashier/Clerk/Photo Lab (Part time & full time) In charge of cash register and responsible for aiding customers checking out, handling returns and processing money orders. Accountable for all cash transactions throughout shift and ensuring total cash in register is within three dollars above or below for all cash transactions. Perform various tasks throughout the store front - Helped with the rearranging of the entire store,-responsible for doing price changes, expiration dates on products and unloading/placement of products in aisles on delivery days.  Perform inventory control through counts and restocking of storage room. Trained and certified as a photo lab technician responsible for maintenance of photo machine and developing of customers’ photos in and out of store.  Experience with day to day retail store operations which included all transaction (cash, credit and returns), doing inventory and exposure to payroll process. Gained valuable customer relation skills.
