I am also a Lecturer and Associate at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in the Computer Science Department at Harvard, and the Chief Privacy Engineer for OpenDP, a community open source library for DP algorithms. I work on differential privacy for protection of sensitive data, and on interfaces for data exploration and machine learning. I balance work between more theoretical research on algorithms and statistics, with practical work building real world systems that work at internet scale.Previously I was a Research Scientist at Meta, where I was a Scientific Lead for rebuilding the Ads Delivery systems in a differentially private manner.Before that I was a Senior Research Scientist at Harvard where I built many of the first prototypes and deployments for practical differential privacy systems.
