-Provide high level systems and data management support on key HR projects.-Research, analyse and report on a wide range of workforce issues and initiatives. Assess the impact of proposals by conducting cost benefit analysis using a variety of statistical data. -Provide a courteous, prompt and proactive org management service to client divisions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide advice to staff on issues relating to restructures, preparation of position descriptions etc.-Maintain org structure and position information in SAP-HR in line with delegate approvals. - Manage and support the roster/payroll systems in SAP-HR, respond to users queries and provide training and or assistance.- Responsible for ensuring roster/payroll functions including processing, reconciliation, approvals, disbursements and end-of-year activities are performed in an accurate and timely manner.- Ensure systems administration and support activities are performed for effective payroll processing.- Provide professional advice and assistance in all aspects of the SAP-HR system and its integration with other SAP modules.- Assist with the delivery of training in all SAP-HR processes.- Ensure relevant system documentation and reports are produced as appropriate.

- Payroll of 5000+ staff via SAP-HR with experience in commencements, terminations, redundancies, leave and superannuation in a diverse payroll team.- EBA/Award interpretation and compliance.- Provide advice to HR, managers/rosterers and staff (on payroll, rostering, superannuation and entitlements issues) to ensure adherence to ABC policies and obligations.- Handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.- Maintain effective communications with relevant output and resource areas. - Represent the ABC and payroll team interests with care and integrity.- Build and maintain collegial relationships with peers within the payroll team.- Contribute to team effectiveness by making suggestions to improve the efficiency of the team and payroll in general.- Undertake calculations (including complex calculations) in a timely manner at a 95% accuracy level and resolve problems with pay and entitlements matters.- Run fortnightly payroll reports in SAP-HR, extract then manipulate/format in excel and distribute accordingly.- Assist in the implementation of payroll projects as directed by project manager, team leader or payroll manager as appropriate.- Handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.- Advocate and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards including acts, code of conduct, WH&S responsibilities etc.

- Payroll of 3000+ staff via Rainbow payroll system with experience in: commencements, processing leave, handling pay inquiries, processing one off/ongoing payments, identifying and fixing errors and completing reports as required.- Discussing with staff (at all levels) about their pay and entitlements.- Keeping up to date knowledge of enterprise agreement(s).- Following and applying guidelines and procedures.- Knowledge of: APS/ABS enterprise agreement(s), policies and values.- Use of Lotus Notes for email correspondence. - Mail (send, sort, receiving and recording) electronic and manual, accurate filing, use of file shares, participation in team meetings.- Participation in OH&S.
