• Coordinates logistical requirements and personnel from across the IMCOM enterprise to support US Army garrison’s Full-Scale Exercises designed as culminating events to stress and test emergency response capabilities.• Conducts evaluations, develops written reports, and provides analysis to Commanders on Emergency Operations, Incident command, Police, Fire and Medical services, fatality management, and reporting procedures.• Develops deliverable products for the IMCOM enterprise including AARs, white papers, Newsletters, Training and Evaluation Outlines, expense reports, quad charts, and trend analysis.• Provides technical program support to the development of installation emergency management capabilities.

Served as the deputy advisor in the Office of the Inspector General for the Regional Health Command-Central (RHC-C) covering a 20 state territory comprised of three tertiary academic Medical Centers, six Community Hospitals, two Community Health Clinics, over 35 outlying Dental Clinics, five Warrior Transition Units, Dental Command-Central, and Public Health Command-Central. Supports a population of over 450,000 military and civilian personnel across the Command's area of responsibility. Serves as the Commanding Generals "eyes, ears, and conscience" and functions as a fair, impartial, and objective fact finder and problem solver. Provides confidential advice and assistance to Commanders, Soldiers, DA Civilians, contractors, family members, retirees, and others needing help within the Army.

Served as the Deputy Manager for the Department of Outlying Health Clinics for a 38-bed Community Hospital and 248-bed Combat Support Hospital; responsible for 21 Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Physical Therapy and Optometry Clinics across the Korean Peninsula; managed Clinical Operations for the hospital during the "Transition to Hostilities" mission; developed clinical administration training for 421 employees; managed staff hiring and schedules, and coordinating logistical movement of personnel across the Korean peninsula; implemented policies on adherence with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Joint Commission standards. Served as the primary medical evaluators for Full Scale Emergency Exercises at six military installations across South Korea.

Developed Health Service Support analysis for supporting large-scale military operations; writes the brigade medical plans, coordinated the health support plan for combat operations, and supervised the synchronization of healthcare operations. Monitored and managed medical troop strength, collected and disseminated medical intelligence, managed emergency medical resupply requests.

Served as the senior enlisted advisor to the commander for a brigade medical support company managing all personnel actions were completed in a timely manner. Planned and managed level II combat health support including trauma, evacuation, behavioral health, preventative medicine, dental and medical logistics assets for over 3500 Soldiers. I was responsible for the combat readiness, training, safety, and welfare of over 78 Soldiers and their families. I supervised the maintenance and accountability of over $11 million worth of government equipment, facilities, and vehicles. Developed and executed combat medical training to prepared deploying Soldiers and reduce combat related deaths.

I served as the senior instructor/writer of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Health Care Specialist course which trained over 2,700 Soldiers annually. I was responsible for the leadership and development of five noncommissioned officers and 24 civilian EMT instructors. I served as the advisor and subject matter expert to the chief of the EMT department, supervised academic didactic instruction and hands on testing for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) standards. I was responsible for over $2.2 million worth of facilities and equipment. I served as the project officer for the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) annual charity fund raising event raising over $220,000 for various charitable organizations.

My primary role was to serve as the senior enlisted medical advisor to the surgeon general of Iraq. Filled the role of medical training officer and assisted the medical operations officer in all aspects of Iraqi Security Forces medical training and administrative programs. Prepared data and reports on doctrine development and training of Iraqi medical regiment. Over saw the ordering, packaging, and shipment of medical equipment and supplies to Iraqi clinics around the country; trained Iraqi clinical personnel on clinic operations, patient flow, and documentation. I developed a short term education project to train the Iraqi police’s river patrol boat forces on emergency medical procedures, extrication, and tactics to enable them to treat casualties while conducting riverine patrol and security force functions throughout the country. Conducted training for over 250 Soldiers in basic emergency medicine, tactical combat casualty care (TC3), and I.V. management. Planned and conducted several mass casualty exercises which were used on two occasions potentially saving the lives of several Soldiers and civilians. I volunteered to serve as the medic on over 75 convoy security missions for coalition forces operating out of Baghdad.

Served as a intern to strengthen fundemental emergency management concepts and delvelop the skills needed to become a succesful in emergency management. Employing skills and abilities to contribute to the objectives of Bexar County OEM program. Preforming tasks related to the five phases of emergency management and other activities associated with emergency management. Assisting the Emergency Management Coordinator and Emergency Management Specialist in exercise development and facilitation. assisting in coordination with public and private officials to determine needs and capabilities during a disaster or other emergency. Assigned to committee, task force or special projects as needed. Assists and supports the Emergency Management Specialist ine the Emergency Operations Center during exercises, assists with training programs, and planning for emergency management related events. Observes emergency response and recovery operations, and participates in non-hazardous support activities. Performs of duties as assigned.

As the Outpatient Pediatric Dept. Administrator, I supervised 8 military and 5 civilian staff members and managed the daily clinical operations of the Pediatric, Adolescent, Well Baby, and Immunization clinics. Additionally I managed for the operations of all subspecialty clinics and the Exceptional Family Members Program. I maintained the accountability and maintenance of over $1.5 million worth of pediatric specific medical equipment and supplies and maintained an annual budget of $120,000. As the senior enlisted member I advised the head nurse and clinic chief on enlisted matters, front desk operations, supplies and facility management. I initiated several improvement projects to facilitate better care for families of service members including extending clinical hours, consolidating office and storage space to open additional exam rooms, and improving front desk facilities. I served as the department equal opportunity representative giving over 100 hours instruction on EO related topics. I developed new standard operating procedures on environmental hazards, personal protective equipment, hazardous materials, and emergency action plans. I was recognized by the hospital commander for volunteering several hundred hours to the Boy Scouts of America, Boys and Girls Club, and the USS Arizona Memorial Fund.

As a medical treatment shift leader in a level II trauma center, I managed a team of 15 medics and nurses and an average daily patient load of 120. I accounted for and maintained 1.3 million dollars worth of medical equipment every shift with zero losses. I assigned staff, organized work priorities and schedules, and served as the primary trainer for rotational EMT students. I evaluated work performance and trained counseled and mentored my subordinates. I planned for and executed several initiatives and competency based projects which resulted in our emergency room passing the Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) inspection with zero deficiencies.

I managed a family practice clinic staff of six Army medics, two civilian front desk clerks, the patient schedules of seven medical providers with a patient population of over 10,000 Soldiers and family members. As a treatment NCO, I managed patient check-in, patient screenings, physicals, immunizations, and conducted routine and surgical procedures. I was responsible for key control, physical security, and supply management. I integrated civilian, active duty and reserve component medical personnel to care for two annual rotations of ROTC cadets training on Fort Lewis and over 8,000 deploying Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers. Additionally, I served as an Equal Opportunity Leader and unit drug and alcohol prevention leader.

I supervised a medical section of eleven Soldiers that provided treatment and medical readiness programs for over 650 Combat Engineers. I managed medical training, procedures, supplies, and equipment to support the Engineers war fighting functions.
