Deployed a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) which interfaces to a wide array of smart devices to monitor and optimize the power consumption of commercial buildings.Developed project from initial concept to final deployment for monitoring structural integrity of critical physical infrastructure.Leveraged a low power consumption FPGA based AI/Neural Network to identify cars on camera to monitor an intersection.Developed the software for an embedded microcontroller, implemented hardware acceleration in FPGA on the device to radically improve performance on the embedded system.Created back-end controller from scratch for a system of electric vehicle chargers which tracks energy usage for each user and reports the data back to the central database.
