I recently graduated with high distinction from the Rotman Commerce program at the University of Toronto. I specialized in Management with focuses in Finance and International Business, while completing an additional minor in Economics. My interests in finance, accounting, operations, e-commerce, and digital marketing have led me to pursue impactful roles in both private and public sectors, as well as in student organizations at the University of Toronto.I began working with the Government of Canada in May 2023 as a Student Intern on the External Relations team for Parks Canada’s Eastern and Central Ontario Field Unit. My proudest achievement during this time was the development of a 10-year management plan for the Kingston fortifications. This project highlighted my ability to set strategic operational goals and conduct financial modeling for budgeting purposes. I was proud to receive multiple internship extensions due to strong performance. As of September 2024, I have accepted a full-time position with Parks Canada, where I will be working jointly between the Eastern and Central Ontario Field Unit and the Southwestern Ontario Field Unit. I am excited for the opportunity to continue bringing my ideas to the evolving landscape of government communications and strategic planning.During my time on the Operational Controls and Process Improvement teams at Empire Life Insurance and Investments, I participated in a wide range of business operations. My responsibilities included conducting risk-based analyses, developing automated frameworks to streamline processes, implementing process improvement initiatives, and maintaining internal databases. This experience equipped me with valuable technical skills that will be beneficial in future roles within financial services. I was proud that this internship was also extended due to excellent performance.During my academic tenure, I held several leadership roles in student organizations, including the Rotman Commerce FinTech Association, University of Toronto Social Justice Club, Rotman Commerce Law Association, and University of Toronto Business Association. These roles provided me with a well-rounded academic experience and positively impacted my personal and professional growth.I look forward to connecting with you and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
