- Support the British Library Exhibitions team in the successful completion of temporary exhibition projects.- Collaborate with stakeholders across the BL in the development of new displays.- Work with external specialists and developers in the installation of sound, video and multimedia playback systems.- Assist with preparation and installation of library objects for display, which includes using the BL's collection management system to track objects in current and up-and-coming exhibitions. - Prepare objects for Touring exhibitions, arranging necessary photography and paperwork.- Maintain departmental financial systems including processing invoices, raising purchase orders and keeping paper and electronic files.- Take responsibility for daily gallery-checking, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

- This is a one-year traineeship focusing on museum collections. - Taking a central role in the production of temporary exhibitions.- Leading on projects to catalogue, audit and research MUSA’s wide ranging collections including scientific apparatus, natural history, and artworks.

- Worked closely with the Director of Public Programmes to develop a system for recording carbon emissions across NMS's five sites, including scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. - Collaborated with department heads and administrators from every department in NMS to advise them on effective ways of recording the carbon footprint from their activities.- Measured visitor reactions to public programmes including an in-person survey of Scotland’s Climate Challenge exhibition.

- Co-curated The Typewriter Revolution exhibition, which opened at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh in July 2021.- Identified objects for display; wrote exhibition content; secured reproduction rights for audio-visuals; made contact with artists and writers whose work features in the exhibition.- Acted as a spokesperson for the exhibition, with highlights including radio interviews, podcast appearances, and a publicity photo on the front page of The Scotsman newspaper. - The exhibition was positively received with 95,478 visits by 31 March (52 per cent ahead of target). A review in Apollo magazine described The Typewriter Revolution as a ‘subtle, classy exhibit’.

- Led tutorials on the module ‘Scotland, Britain and Empire, c1500-2000’.- Assessed coursework and provided written/in-person guidance to students.- Received positive feedback on my teaching from senior lecturers and was also nominated for a Students' Association Teaching Award.

Specific duties included:- Organised tasks on the shop floor such as stock replenishment, wastage control, cleaning and general store maintenance. - Trained colleagues in different areas of the shop to create a skilled and flexible team. - Led on cash reconciliation including completing the weekly cash journal, bank deposits, change issues and till pick ups. - Arranged contractors for maintenance of the store's IT and refrigerator systems.

- Arranged meetings with interviewees including securing written consent for use of recordings.- Set up audio equipment for high-quality sound recording.- Transcribed interviews to facilitate the incorporation of recordings into the Tower Bridge exhibition which was redeveloped in 2017. - In recognition of these successes, I was invited to open and close the Bridge.
