I successfully conducted a research project that validated the precision and accuracy of two devices that is used to analyze water quality parameters - I validated HT 1000 Hydro Test kit for determination of Total suspenders Solids, which reduced the analysis time to less than 5 seconds. This was a great achievement as the previous method (gravimetry method) used to take more than 2 hours to complete the analysis and it was prone to errors -I validated the precision and and accuracy of HC 1000, a device used to determine environmental water quality parameters such as Water Conductivity, pH and Total suspended Solids(TDS)Validation of these two devices improved the analysis of water quality parameters at Mopani. These devices are portable and doesn't require samples to be analysed in the lab as all the analysis can be conducted on-site. Show less
