Forty-Four years’ experience in the construction industry. Background includes extensive experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, revamps, and new construction in refineries, petrochemical and process chemical facilities. In addition, is highly experienced in working on cogen and ethylene units. Experience gained from holding various positions including pipefitter, boiler maker, equipment operator, rigger, pipe general foreman, project coordinator, material control, purchaser, estimator, project superintendent, site superintendent and third-party field construction coordinator over major projects. Provided overall project direction and guidance by planning, coordinating and supervising onsite operations. Supervised total on-site construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, scope, budget and schedule. Responsible for on-site administrative and technical management, coordinating, and supervising craft employees and their work activities. Ensured on-site personnel comply with project procedure, safety program requirements and work rules. Was responsible for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance of the project. Also responsible for interfacing with project manager, client representatives, and contractors.
