About James Jolly
Starting my career with 4 years in Telecommunications, I focused my personal development on establishing myself as a supportive presence, willing to go above and beyond to help others, wherever possible. During my time at both BT and Openreach, I established myself as a Supervisor, Cover Manager, SME, and then Training and Development Lead for teams across the UK and India. Throughout my progression, my focus was always on people, ensuring support structures were in place to facilitate diverse and thorough training. In my two most recent roles, I have taken the opportunity to become more of a strategic and operational lead for training. I have worked closesly alongside senior leaders, to construct high-impact learning strategy and communication plans, contributing to a culuture of continuous improvement. I have delivered sales, leadership development, complex conversation and early career graduate training sessions, both virtually and in-person, as well as constructing e-learning and training materials to support development. I have driven myself to build holistic & engaging training packages, ensuring resources are top quality and behaviours are firmly engrained in a positive learning environment. I will be striving for consistency and excellence in all I do, whilst helping to develop others through systems, processes, collective intelligence and a Jolly attitude.
