Bio - SEED Landscape Design LtdJames has a background in garden design and horticulture. He completed a Horticulture diploma at Berkshire college of Agriculture, BSc (Hons) in Landscape Design at Writtle school of design with an emphasis on planting and his post-gradute in Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire. Outside of work he is a keen mountain biker, runner and is currently working on a community woodland project for Frome Council where he lives with his family.James runs many of our residential projects located throughout the UK including two private gardens in North Wales completing in summer 2024. He is also currently working on the implementation of The Field House as well as the design of a number of our other para 84 projects and advises on planting for many of SEED’s private and commercial schemes.With over 15 years of experience, James has worked on a number of notable projects over the years including two Chelsea main avenue gardens, one of which won gold in 2014 whilst working as senior designer for Del Buono Gazerwitz He has collaborated with Piet Oudolf on a private garden in Berkshire and worked with Emma Clark on a Islamic Chahar-bagh for the award winning Cambridge Mosque whilst working as an Associate Landscape Architect for Urquhart & Hunt. He has also worked on a number of projects in Europe ranging from a two hectare site in Cap d'Antibes, a coastal project in Cannes and a private garden in Megève.James is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden designers.
