I am a recent graduate of the Masters of Public Policy program at The University of Chicago Harris School. My experience covers a broad range of federal regulations and requirements including federal grants management, disaster recovery and resilience, procurement, affordable housing, Section 3, Davis Bacon and Related Acts, and housing choice voucher and public housing program management. I have assisted with developing and implementing policy, monitoring and compliance, case management, and training and development for various aspects of federal grants. I also created program guidelines, policies, and procedures including compliance and procurement manuals and have established a wide range of training materials tailored to specific government entities, departments, and community stakeholders.I have found a passion for establishing new and exciting ways to best utilize public funds for the specific and unique needs of each community, while also ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, I enjoy creating a variety of training and educational material to ensure all staff, partners, and contractors are both aware of, and more importantly understand, all requirements of the programs being utilized.
