• Create and implement activity work-plans for country-level activities, in collaboration with Project Lead.• Provide day-to-day management for Youth Excel activities with a focus on supporting local organizations who are co-leading or leading these activities at the local level.• Coach and mentor local partners and sub-grantees in Youth Excel approaches. • Assist in conducting due diligence and background checks for local partners and sub-grantees and developing risk mitigation strategies.• Support and monitor Youth Excel sub-grantees’ work, including identifying resources and support that sub-grantees need to strengthen their capacity.• Provide day-to-day monitoring and constructive advice/support to sub-grantees that is in line with sub-grants including compliance with U.S. government and IREX policies and financial management.• Oversee and track sub-grantees’ funding disbursements and liquidations. Ensure timely and accurate sub-grantee financial reporting and provide capacity-building support to sub-grantees in these areas.• Collect and review sub-grant documentation and maintain organized and up-to-date files in preparation for close-out and audit readiness.• Work with the Project Lead to build Youth Excel enhancing partnerships in Kenya and the region• Contribute to Youth Excel monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.• Contribute to Youth Excel project communications such as collecting and sharing impact stories from sub-grantees.• Responding to region specific queries on Youth Excel and/or directing them to the relevant persons

•Maintain and develop high level skills in the use of the one2oneTM integrated digital platforms specifically internet-based components; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SMS, WhatsApp, one2oneTM website and related media.•Accelerate engagement on all the digital platforms•Develop work plans, implement, monitor and report as assigned while adhering to defined program strategies•Ensure inter-divisional/departmental linkages between the adolescent and youth program and other divisions in the assigned regions•Develop and implement innovative strategies for demand creation and continuous improvement of adolescent and youth friendly HIV/SRH services in view of achieving 90:90:90 targets.•Disseminate IEC materials for different Adolescents and youth sub-populations, parents, teachers, service providers and other populations in touch with adolescents and youth.•Support AGYW PrEP Champions, AGYW organization and YACs in their activities including thoroughly preparing them for high-level advocacy fora•Ensure timely completion of quality activity, Program and donor reports as assigned.•Support the capacity building, training, mentorship and supervision of service providers, teachers, youth outreach mobilizers, peer educators, interns and LVCT’s sub partners targeting adolescents and youth to ensure that they are well placed to deliver quality AYFS services.•Ensure meaningful engagement of adolescent and young people in the program and policy process that concern them in the assigned regions•Document and disseminate LVCT’s adolescent and youth work – including abstracts and reports•Collect program related material e.g. human interest stories, photos, for updating website, newsletters, annual reports and other documents•Management of program resources including commodities, human resource and finance to ensure accountability

OVERALL PURPOSE: To provide technical expertise, coordination and support supervision to site staff and volunteers within designated sites MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES• Providing support in the program through co-ordination and supervision of Peer Education and Outreach Program in Nairobi County.• Work with the PEO team to reach 3,212 KP with the minimum package.• Work with the PEO team to reach 3,212 KP with quarterly repeat services while ensuring 100% cohort retention• Motivate and retain 80% of peer educators while maintaining NASCOP approved peer ratios• Providing support to ensure all project sites conform to NASCOP SOPs for KP• Ensure quality Improvement through support and supervision of peer educators. This should be documented for quality tracking• Work with program staff to document and disseminate best practices and lessons learnt• Provide technical support in planning , implementing, monitoring and evaluating program activities including writing weekly and monthly reports • Ensure the project utilize approved reporting tools.• Facilitating capacity building activities for the program implementation team including organizing and supporting economic empowerment/livelihood sources • Raising the level of awareness on social realities and empowering project beneficiaries in coming up with their own strategies and schemes to improve their living condition. E.g Table banking groups• Participate and represent the project at relevant program meetings.• Timely submission of program reports including timely liquidation of program funds
