The Traffic Unit is a separate support unit to the patrol division and has many traffic safety related duties and responsibilities. The Traffic Unit conducts traffic safety in an effort to reduce the frequency and severity of traffic crashes. The responsibilities and capabilities of the Traffic Unit include the following:Collision InvestigationCollision ReconstructionSpeed EnforcementSeatbelt EnforcementDUI EnforcementTraffic Control Device Enforcement (Traffic Lights & Stop Signs)ACRS/SFST/PBT/Radar&Lidar InstructorI also oversee the Intoximeter Program, SUAS (Drone) Program, and ALPR Program.

Road Supervisor - responsible for assisting the Patrol Group Supervisor and Deputies under our command with their daily activities and duties.Agency Collision Reconstruction Specialist / Supervisor - responsible for the Collision Reconstruction Team and Program for the Agency. I'm responsible for assisting other team member's with investigations, reviewing reports, and lining training up for the team member's.Overseeing the Automated Crash Reporting System (ACRS) - I'm in charge of reviewing and signing off on Crash Reports (ACRS) for the agency.Overseeing the Agency E-Tix and ACRS Program - Administrator for the agency and the liaison to the MSP coordinator that oversee the programs. I'm also an instructor for the ACRS Program. Agency Armorer - I'm responsible for maintaining and repairing small arms and weapons systems for the agency.
