What I've liked most about my 29-plus years at Edward Jones is helping my clients work toward their financial goals or find solutions to a financial problem. Learning about my client's interests and their families is paramount to the relationships we create. My family inspires me to serve others.My work history includes jobs as a nursing assistant in a hospital burn center, managing a sporting goods store, national sales manager of a plastic surgery company, consultant to medical device industry and installer for commercial wastewater treatment systems.My wife, Sharon, of 39 years and I have three adult children (two married) and eight grandchildren. Sharon is a critical care transport nurse with NW Ambulance. She volunteers to travel overseas for Children's Heart Project, bringing children with a damaged heart to the US to get their hearts repaired. She participates on medical teams with Operation Smile, Kenya Relief and to the nation of Haiti. She is on a Trauma & Critical Care Team with the National Disaster Medical System.Our daughter owns a company, School Forward, working to improve American education and offer families more school opportunities. We have two sons. One is a Seattle police officer, and one is a Naval Aviator piloting the FA-18F Super Hornet and instructor for the T-45 Goshawk.Outside the office, I am a Chief Warrant Officer with the US Volunteers-Joint Services Command. Our primary mission is "Boots on Graves" providing military funeral honors for veteran families. I play Taps as the bugler and I'm the armorer for our rifle team. I earned the Military Emergency Response Team badge to assist FEMA and NDMS in the event of a national emergency. I also go on short-term mission trips and am on the Elder Board of my church.I love activities with my family, especially skiing, hiking, sailing and watching my grandchildren.
