About James Kibble

I am a fit and healthy family man, with varied interests including outdoor pursuits and interests that I follow with my family, whilst currently residing in Perth W.A. I approach my career with vigour and consider my current role to be a specialised profession in which I am proficient, enthusiastic and above all competent. Currently working as a Field Assessor for Western Power, I bring many years of experience to the role. I have international experience on both Transmission and Distribution systems from L.V. up to and including 400Kv as well as Live Line, Glove and Barrier. I am well versed in all construction, maintenance and fault finding aspects in a variety of conditions, including extreme weather events. This is complemented by the relevant regional qualifications, in U.K., New Zealand and Australia.

In 2006 I was chosen to complete a Hot Stick & Glove and Barrier course which I completed in March of the same year and immediately started to work in a G&B crew Carrying out over-head maintenance through-out the North Shore, North western suburbs, Hibiscus Coast and Rodney areas, I was in charge of a three man crew on a weekly faults roster covering the same area and would stand in for the G&B foreman in his absence.
