James has been in the IT field since 2009.James's early career provided server security and application security. Well adept in scripting languages such as command line, and powershell. He managed website security and provided business related services to protect the network and data throughout for both the business and clients.James advanced to managing another business security and IT needs. He managed a network with multiple buildings across a large metropolitan area, providing security between sites and for users remote and on-site.James began his higher education and excelled at rapid completion of the degree program in Cybersecurity due in large part of his experience. He learned new and complex topics and continued his education out of the school setting to master his trade. His interest include both security defense and offensive security tactics. His focus has been in securing business defenses and protecting data both internal and external.James has then worked for another business in a fast-paced environment that focused on providing security and network functionality for many clients. He has picked up the tech stack and developed proceedures for dealing with incidents, guidelines, and compliance needs. James has provided compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and Nist security standards. He has also been involved with Security Awareness Training and phishing campaigns. He has provided support for phishing attempts, business email compromise, and virus removals. He has also led projects dealing with CVE vulnerabilities found on clients networks.James has reached a level where he provides support for newer techs interested in cybersecurity and IT needs.
