Managed and supervised the MWSS-373 EOD section for all Operations pertaining to EOD and coordination with partnering Marine Corps Installation assistance.· Managed and coordinated with MWSS-373 and local units to include Combat Engineers, Motor Transport and ground forces to provide counter-IED and IED awareness training prior to deployments.· Provided EOD Teams to assist The Marine Corps Air Station Miramar EOD Section for emergency responses on a weekly basis which allowed both sections to gain experience and complete T&R standards.· Managed and supervised all inerting/stripping operations conducted by the section.· Planned, coordinated and implemented a complex and comprehensive training schedule to focus on individual, team and section level mission readiness and core competencies.· Coordinated, managed and ensured the successful destruction of 110 UXO items during an MWSS-373 EOD 10-day surface range clearance on San Clemente Island which resulted in the discovery and destruction of 750lbs Net Explosive Weight.· Steadily Managed multiple teams during Base Recovery After Attack (BRAAT) and Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP) scenarios for the MWSS.

Supervised and directed EOD operations to include providing technical guidance/advice to commanders and staff planners on all EOD issues, capabilities, deployments and organization.· Provided 24-hour support to MCAS Miramar and the outlying areas for emergency response to explosive hazards such as UXO, aircraft hazards and IED’s in support of Station Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) measures.· Oversaw and provided guidance to all commodities within the MCAS Miramar EOD Branch to ensure the success of overall operational readiness and EOD response capabilities and ensured all training and administrative requirements were met.· Planned, executed and supervised a 5-day explosive ordnance exploitation operation which resulted in 7 Marines trained and 6 explosive ordnance items successfully exploited.· Managed and supervised direct support to flight line and base emergency response.· Planned and coordinated all logistical and personnel requirements for the MCAS Miramar Airshow which resulted in assistance from military and civilian agencies.· Coordinated multiple combined training evolutions with Navy EOD teams, Military Working Dog Handlers, FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department.· Provided periods of instruction to local law enforcement and Federal Agencies about the hazards of Homemade Explosives (HME). A mixing course was then conducted on the East Miramar EOD range for practical application purposes.· Ensured all Marines were well versed in the Station SOP for emergency and non-emergency response procedures.

Managed and supervised all EOD operations and training pertaining to pre-deployment requirements for the CLB/MEU as well as Battalion Landing Teams (BLT). Provided Guidance to Commanders and Senior leadership with EOD capabilities and limitations.

Served as an EOD Team Member/Leader as well as held commodities such as Class V/Motor Transport NCOIC, Training NCOIC and Administrative NCOIC.
