Day to day interface with the land owners (LOs) especially LOs in Gobe (SHP), Barikewa/Kikori (Gulf), Moran (Hela), Kutubu (SHP) & Kimu (Western Province) in both old (workover) & new construction & drilling sites.

I've been working with Community Liaison team of Spiecapag Niugini Ltd as Community Affairs officer, the contractor building on-shore pipeline for PNG LNG project. The team is responsible for ensuring no work stoppages to the best of our ability, in order to meet construction schedules. This includes interfacing with villagers and workers on a daily basis, as well as interfacing with Esso Highlands Limited (EHL/ExxonMobil) Community Affairs team and Lanco representatives. My activities include handling employment issues, demobilization exercises, community engagement, resolving grievances/issues, making necessary compensation payments,, managing local timber orders and coordinating convoy updates. In addition, I led a community safety initiative to make young children in affected project areas aware of road hazards and safe pedestrian behaviors. For this work I was given safety award by EHL and Spiecapag Management.

With EHL/ExxonMobil as L&CA Officer, I did Land Demarcation, Assessment (IPCA & CAA), various Compensation payments (pipeline Right of Way) & attended to Industrial Relations Issues, community engagement & awareness for both On/Offshore Pipelines. I have hands on GPS Operations/Calculations knowledge and am Computer Literate – Lotus Notes, Cyber Security & Boreal-Is (Registering Grievances & Issues). I attended to several workshops while on job sites and on field breaks. As a result I have background knowledge of Oil/Gas Act, Lands Act, Mining & Petroleum Industry Acts, etc
