Provided remote operational LAN Engineering Services for Sikorsky’s (Lockheed Martin's) primary manufacturing facility and headquarters, located in Stratford, Connecticut, as well as 27 additional facilities located across North America.Key Engagements/Projects:• Deployed over 8,000 VoIP phones at Sikorsky’s Headquarters and sites located across North America. Maintained project tracking for the LAN portion of the project. Implemented new IP subnets for the phone networks. Ensured LAN readiness ahead of deployments by updating router and switch configurations. Resulted in eliminating expensive PBX costs for Sikorsky.• Implemented best practice network standards at Sikorsky’s Headquarters. Collaborated with network team architects and vendors to create an overall implementation plan. Assisted with equipment configuration, installation and testing. Worked with IT teams on migrating end users to the new network. Eliminating single points of failure, points of congestion and frequent network outages creating a more robust/stable network, faster throughput and a more efficient network.• Created a process to streamline steps for LAN change controls. Collaborated with change control team and LAN team to determine necessary requirements for approving large quantities of or expedited LAN related changes. Expedited changes through the system and met all necessary requirements (change control board and spontaneous customer demands).• Utilized ITIL practices for dealing with issues and outages. Quickly responded to outage or issue notifications and participated in SRT’s (Service Restoration Team). Completed RCA’s (Root Cause Analysis) and implemented corrective actions to prevent further outages/issues. Improved triage approach for outage calls (single user or site wide). Resulting in quicker resolution of issues - big and small.

Provided operational LAN Engineering Services for the following Key Accounts: Urenco USA (Eunice, NM); Ingersoll Rand (Davidson, NC); Motorola Solutions (Austin, TX); Motorola Mobility (Austin, TX); Freescale, Inc. (Austin, TX)Key Engagements/Projects:Freescale:• Refreshed legacy access switches for one of Freescale’s $1B semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Played a leading role in creating a detailed implementation plan, obtaining necessary approvals, ordering and staging of equipment, configuring nine high-capacity switches, coordinating the support of various IT teams and game day execution. The project was completed two hours ahead of the allotted window, significantly reducing impact to the customer’s manufacturing capabilities. Capital equipment costs were also reduced due to effective consolidation efforts. • Provided network services for technology conference consisting of 2,500 attendees and executives in Orlando. Performed scouting trip to begin planning a solution for the conference. Obtained necessary equipment to be shipped to the conference site. Arrived early to begin staging equipment for network cafés and conference rooms. Ensured wireless functionality in sensitive areas. The conference was a success from a network perspective with adequate network availability and throughput for each attendee. Motorola:• Rebuilt the entire network for one of Motorola’s $650M semiconductor manufacturing facilities, which had been experiencing multiple network outages. Planned, designed and implemented the overall project including design and build-out of a new cabling infrastructure system, installing and configuring approximately 20 new high-capacity LAN switches and coordinating closely with various IT teams on migrating 1,500+ users to the new network. Resulted in a stable, robust network that exceeded five nine’s uptime and improved manufacturing efficiencies.
