    Provided support as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst on an existing project the Penn DOT Project Collaboration Center (PPCC) a SharePoint road construction system. The project had started in 2013 and Acclaim Systems was relieving the previous project owner as part of a contract agreement. I arrived to support the testing phase of the 9th release. There was a lot to pick-up and learn quickly. With the help of another Sr. Business Analyst who was already on the project I was able to learn quickly. We completed the release. We scoped the next 2 releases on the project roadmap and the stakeholders determined they were not needed. We worked on the 3rd release projected on the roadmap and implemented that release. During that release we scoped the final release and the stakeholders determined that it would be completed by the maintenance team. So the final release was implemented and the project transitioned to the maintenance team.I have the opportunity to join a new project at Penn DOT for the re-write of the Driver’s License system. The first 3 release were developed and implemented by another contractor, the 4th release to be completed by a Penn DOT team of employees and contractors.

    I started at then York International as a developer to learn ASP dot Net web development and EDI, neither of which I knew how to perform prior to starting. After a little assistance from others I was able to develop applications with both. I later gave up the web development for learning MQSI Integrator development. With a one week worth of training I was off and running and enjoying doing integration work with MQSI Integrator. I continued doing development and support in EDI. I continued to work and learn more about MQSI Integrator which became WebSphere Message Broker along with Java to develop some testing tools.In 2005, Johnson Controls bought York International and we became part of their Controls unit. Because Johnson Controls had their own EDI group, we transitioned our business partners to this new group. I continued to focus on WebSphere Message Broker development as well as learning a new integration tool for SAP. Since Johnson Controls had another integration department as part of their Automotive group, management merged our group with theirs to form one corporate integration group in 2010. As part of this new group I had a different role as part of the platform setup team. I took on a project of setting up enterprise monitoring for all business units. My supervisor left the company in 2013. I took over most of his responsibilities agreeing to do them until they found a successor.The company found a person to take my ex-supervisors position and I went back to my monitoring project. In 2016 Johnson Controls spun off their Automotive business unit as a separate company and entered into a merger with Tyco Alarms. I was let go, along with 249 IT personnel as a cost cutting measure.
