Oversee the product management responsibilities across all of the Centric Parts and StopTech product lines. Product lines include aftermarket and performance brake friction, brake rotors and drums, brake calipers, brake hydraulics, and steering and suspension components. Duties include establishing processes and implementing best practices for a team of product management professionals. Department responsibilities include new part and program introductions, lifecycle management, competitive analysis, data analysis (BI), pricing, marketing, vendor selection and development, research and development, and inventory management.

Product manager for high performance brake systems and components sold under the StopTech brand. Responsible for leading new product development, competitive research, sales analysis, and catalog data management.

Lead a team of talented mechanical engineers in the design of high performance automotive brake systems and components. Brake solutions serve both the aftermarket and OEM sectors and are produced under TS 16949 standards.

Design racing brake system components and kits tailored to specific vehicle applications and customer driven inputs. Provide drawings, models, and supporting documentation for private label applications and manufacturers such as TRD, HPD, and Chrysler. Work with suppliers to create solutions and promote understanding of manufacturing tolerances and GD&T. Optimize design of caliper bodies through FEA simulation in Solidworks. * Designed calipers, brackets, hats, rotors, rotor castings, and drill and slot patterns.* Designated as lead engineer for OEM products after demonstrating notably high attention to detail.

Capture requirements from customer needs, evaluate the feasibility for a SMA solution, and generate concept designs. Code, machine, and build working prototypes. Design experiments to characterize and validate performance of devices. Carry out studies including FEA, tolerance stack, and DFMEA. Optimize existing product designs to reduce part counts, simplify manufacturing, and streamline production. Author and present reports to clientele. Prepare cost estimate worksheets and source device components. Interface between sales and engineering teams, plan project timelines, allocate resources, and manage prototype development. * Designed and built several prototypes for a major domestic automotive manufacturer that utilized a shape memory alloy actuator wire. * Carried one project from conception into joint development with a Tier 1 supplier and design validation and integration phases. * Created training documentation, procedures, and held classes for operating all shop equipment including mills, EDM, lathes, rapid prototyping (FDM), and numerous saws.
