Thought-out the years I have learnt many practical skills for which I take to my own personal projects, my lasted project is a kitchen renovation at my parents’ home, I completed this during my holiday periods throughout my final year at University. The personal projects help me develop my existing skills and with limited income they’ve pushed me to learn a whole new range of new skillsMy final project at university has sparked a passion for working with wasted printing blankets and turning them into bags and accessories. This is a project I am developing in my spare time and in hope to create it into a business.

Bar StaffThe Brewers Arms Sep 2016 - Jan 2020Neston, England, United KingdomMy role at the Brewers Arms started as a general bar staff position, but as I progressed throughout my time. My role became more important and valued throughout the years. I first started to cash the tills at the end of the night and then went on to other important maintenance procedures, such as cleaning the pump lines, paying wages, opening and closing the pub. Over the years of working at the Brewers Arms I created an amazing relationship with the staff and customers, so much that Paul Smith (Landlord) would always have job opportunities for me when I was home from university in the holiday seasons. -
Woodshop DirectorCamp Canadensis Jun 2019 - Sep 2019Pennsylvania, United StatesMy role as wood shop director was to lead all workshop activities and classes throughout the whole summer. This included a vast range of tasks; the main task was to create projects that the campers could complete based on their age set and skill level. I created a plan for teaching 6 set classes and one elective class for 6 days of the week for a six-week duration. The safety of all campers was always essential. I achieved this through carrying out safety inductions with the campers and councillors while ensuring machinery was only used by myself and trained staff; which resulted in roughly 500 campers having no injuries. -
Camp Counselor & Woodshop SpecialistCamp Canadensis Jun 2017 - Sep 2017Pennsylvania, United StatesI was hired at camp Canadensis to be a general camp counsellor and also a Woodworking specialist. This role meant that in the daytime alongside one other counsellor, I would teach six classes a day in the wood-shop. When not teaching I would join my co-counsellors in looking after our assigned 13 campers (aged 8-10). As my campers where one of the youngest, they required the most attention. The role included making sure they had showered, put their dirty clothes away, got the right sports equipment for the day, made sure they were eating and drinking enough. As first described to me my role was essentially working parent. -
Apprentice Bench Joinery Level 2Ikf Chester Ltd Oct 2016 - May 2017Chester, England, United KingdomI was employed by IKF Chester as a bench joiner apprentice. My role was to assist and work alongside one other employee to manufacture kitchen and bedroom cabinets. It wasn’t soon before I progressed quickly into the role and were able to manufacture cabinets solely on my own using a range of machinery. I worked alongside my partner for roughly six months, until he moved on. This led myself moving to a more important role and taking over all manufacturing processes within the workshop.
