• Responsible for scanning web-based applications for security vulnerabilities using APPSCAN product• Liaise with external security scanning company as a second level of application security• Maintain current list of known vulnerabilities• Consult with development staff on proper methods of writing secure code• Research any reported attempts by non-authorized users to gain access to restricted data (e.g. customer account numbers, credit card numbers, etc…)• Audit existing computer code to ensure maximum security of protected data• Interact with development staff to ensure existing vulnerabilities are corrected
