A multifaceted role in which I am involved with several aspects of IT. I am primarily responsible for managing and developing core business systems including ERP, databases, and bespoke integration with the Magento-based e-commerce platform.

Initially returning to a technical support role, the opportunities presented during the early period following the company's private equity takeover allowed me to become rapidly involved in many more areas of IT, and at a greater depth and level of responsibility than before.Working with experienced colleagues in the fields of ERP, database systems and e-commerce, I became refocussed on business application support, analysis and development.

Developing modern, responsive and accessible web sites and web applications using the latest techniques. I have worked with a wide range of prestigious clients in the music, fashion and lifestyle industries.

Second-line support at the largest full-service law firm in the UK. I was jointly responsible for supporting 300 colleagues directly in the Birmingham office, as well as part of the larger national support team serving over 2100 staff throughout the UK and Spain.

First and second line desktop and server support for a large local government user base. After initially starting at a more junior level in another team, I was hand picked for this position after demonstrating my technical abilities. During my time here I learnt a huge amount and ended up becoming an integral part of the team.
