After leaving the US Navy -- in 2017 I relocated to the Midwest, joining Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma, the largest urology practice in the Oklahoma/Arkansas/Missouri region. Serving patients in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri since 1948, Urologic Specialists offers exceptional and innovative urologic care for men, women, and children throughout the region. Skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic disorders and conditions, our physicians and surgeons are trained in many different urologic subspecialties allowing them to offer patients the most advanced care and treatment available. In addition to seeing patients at four Urologic Specialists clinics across the Sooner State, I regularly perform surgeries at three Oklahoma hospitals: Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and Ascension St. John Medical Center.

Following my fellowship, I was stationed at the US Navy’s Naval Medical Center in San Diego where I specialized in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. I earned a Meritorious Service Medal for my development of the first robotics program in the U.S. Navy. I also held the titles of Director of Robotic Surgery, and Urology Residency Program Director for the Navy. In November 2016, I retired at the rank of Commander after 22 years in the US Navy, and nine in the Marines, after Following his fellowship, Dr. L’Esperance was stationed at the US Navy’s Naval Medical Center in San Diego where he specialized in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Dr. L’Esperance earned a Meritorious Service Medal for his development of the first robotics program in the U.S. Navy. He also held the title of Robotic Surgery Director and Urology Residency Program Director for the Navy.
