Devising, developing and creating content, stunts and music-led features to put Key 103 (later Hits Radio) back on the map in the crowded Manchester market (onair, online and social media). Increased listening share by 36% and won Gold for our coverage of the Manchester Bombing in 2017 at the UK’s biggest radio awards, the Arias.Part of the team who subsequently evolved Key 103 into the UK’s first national commercial radio station from Manchester - Hits Radio launched in 2018 with Gethin Jones, Gemma Atkinson and Dave Vitty on the breakfast show.

Worked with the team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire to implement content and strategy that led to a 10 year high in audience figures and twice won the converted Station Of The Year award at the national Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards (the for-runner to the current Arias). Other highlights included rallying the community during the 2007 floods (plus launched a relief fund that topped £1million), helped to launch the now famous Tramlines Festival with a day of live pop music, an exclusive interview to support Arctic Monkeys homecoming concerts and getting Michael Buble to donate £60,000 to our charity from his concert for Hallam FM listeners.
