Current• ETL Duties for Client Wage File Intakeo Validate and load incoming client wage files into SQL Server database using custom built windows application and stored procedure.o Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors during load process.o Research and troubleshoot client-driven requests for follow up on data requests.• Client Implementationo Technical lead on meetings with client during implementation: Answer all data and process related questions. Provide guidance on decisions regarding data strategy. Discuss and plan for rollout targets and schedules. Create and manage client sftp accounts for file transfers. Provide detailed feedback on test files during client test phase. Configure client set up in system.• Code Development and Maintenanceo Create and modify existing stored procedures for performance and new features.o Participate in code reviews.o Participate in code deployments to production environment.• Operational Dutieso Work with managed service provider in maintaining sftp server in GCP.o Work with managed service provider operations group in troubleshooting and monitoring the database server in production and test environments.o Work with managed service provider to set up and configure any new VM instances in GCP o Worked with managed service provider to configure and maintain disaster recovery environment.o Provide reporting through ad hoc queries for internal management and staff.o Provide recommendations and solutions for ongoing client-related requests relating to changes occurring within client organization.o Perform ongoing maintenance of SQL Server by coordinating patching schedule, adjusting maintenance jobs, and monitoring DB backup process.• Administrative Dutieso Participate in weekly change management meetings.o Participate in security audit meetings.o Perform weekly security log audits using various available tools and reports within GCP, Elmah, and Imperva.
