-Reviewed all QA/QC procedures of laboratory analyses and practices. -Acted as the in-house expert in regulations involving ELAP, NELAP, DOD, DOT, EHSS, ISO 17025:2017, and OSHA.-Was responsible for the implementation and upkeep of the laboratory quality assurance and health and safety program.-Maintained laboratory certifications in various states and coordinates with regulatory agencies for laboratory permits and compliance.-Ensured that all data generated is scientifically sound, legally defensible, and of known precision and accuracy.-Conducted audits and inspections of all division sections on a periodic basis.-Coordinated the analysis and reporting of Performance Test (PT) samples.-Maintained and oversees the master sources of all SOPs, training logs and analytical logbooks. -Served as the in-house client representative on all projects inquiries involving data quality issues.

-Analyzed EPA methods 8015B, 8021B, 8260B, 8270C, TO-3, and TO-15 for soil, soil vapor, water, and air samples through GC and GCMS; responsible for instrument calibration, maintenance, and complete documentation of all data and preparation procedures. -Sampled soil vapor samples across Southern California while following guidelines set in the DTSC Active Soil Gas Investigation Advisory; prepared samples for local and governmental projects. -Ensured accurate analysis through Agilent Technologies Chemstation and reporting on Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS)-The ability to problem solve, think critically, multitask, and work efficiently under pressure/time restraints are a few of the skills required as a chemist.
