Throughout my tenure I undertook a major review and rewrite of the Operational Rulebook, General Appendix and Sectional Appendix. The biggest challenge I met in the role was overhauling and re-implementing the Competency Management System (CMS) and Control of Safety Critical Work Policy (CSCW). When I stepped in to the role, the company had encountered a number of problems resulting from the mismanagement of the CMS and over the course of several months, myself and the company directors streamlined the performance on this side of the business.
