I received some of the very best training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM and NESA. I was also trained in orthopedic/trigger point needling and I was awarded a 500 hour massage certificate in 2015. Recently I am specializing in a form of acupuncture developed in Japan by Dr. Yoshito Mukaino, MD called M-Test, a movement based technique that produces instant results and rarely requires the use of acupuncture needles. I am currently certified as an intermediate/advanced practitioner. I also offer hair tissue mineral analysis testing to guide my patient's diet and supplement choices and I frequently prescribe Chinese herbal formulas to treat chronic disease and difficult symptoms. I am a team player and I have good interpersonal skills. I was elected to the student councils at both NESA and ACTCM and I worked with my classmates to address student concerns and improve communication between the students and school administrations. I consider myself a tech nerd. I am familiar with the Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and I have extensive experience working to support desktop users and networks (even network printers!). I've worked as a website designer/developer since highschool and I have some systems administration experience as well. My personal interests center around self-growth and health. I started meditating when I was in high school and my early interest has blossomed into a daily practice that enriches my life in many ways. I like to exercise, walk, swim, hike and go for an occasional run. I'm currently working to teach myself French and I'm studying a martial art called Wing Chun. I read classics, history, psychology, self-help books, and just about anything that looks interesting to me.
