In my role I have few day-to-day tasks, the bulk of my time is spent delivering large-scale projects and innovating with autonomy.I’m extremely passionate about using automation and integrating systems to make the lives of colleagues in Head Office and the Field easier. I’m the leading user of Microsoft Power Automate in the UK, extensively using the Salesforce API to maximise the power of our CRM system - for example integrating Google Analytics data and surfacing this to account managers and providing real-time activity notifications.I'm the Country Lead for ACTalya - the Digital Personal Assistant for our account managers; managing it end-to-end from the leadership pitch through to training end-users and all of the stakeholder management between. I'm also the Country Lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with my extensive knowledge of the platform and Salesforce as a CRM platform I'm able to constructively challenge the direction of the project and ensure that it meets the needs of the UK.

My initial role at Novartis was in the Compliance team with the remit to review and improve internal processes; minimise compliance and financial risks; ensure that the internal control matrices were completed effectively and efficiently; and develop and execute the mitigation and remediation plans arising from the above matrix completion, and any compliance or finance audit processes.The role involved lots of stakeholder management with regular reporting to the leadership team on progress towards remediation plans, as well as needing to forge and maintain relationships at all levels across the business such that access to the information I needed was readily available.

After my internal move to the Risk Advisory department the majority of my engagements were process and controls focussed. I utilised my unique skillset to provide clients with innovative technical solutions.

My audit portfolio included three listed entities and spanned a range of industries including technology, defence, and distribution. This gave me significant exposure to statutory reporting requirements and technical accounting treatments, including long-term contract accounting; revenue recognition; and goodwill impairment. I was consistently ranked at the top of my intake each year.
