+ Responsible for the integration of Procurement, Manufacturing, MRP, Demand and Supply functions.+ Spearheaded or was an active member of the following activities: * Established non-FG (raw/pack/wip) inventory policies and aligned to overall Oliver Wight ES&OP strategy * Developed forward looking inventory modeling tools (SAP/excel based) to proactively drive behaviors in supply chain resulting in improved cash flow, lower raw/pack/wip inventories (33% or $15.8 MM over 10 months) and standardization across multiple planning groups+ Specialized in supply chain risk mitigation by engaging multiple points of supply, developed supply chain stability via Letters of Agreement (LOA) and various stocking strategies (min/max, delayment,etc)+ Embedded lean philosophy throughout Procurement and supply base to enable short term responsiveness through lead time reduction and building flexibility at point of supply+ Currently engaged with Unilever in a transition role responsible for supplier management, SAP integration and supply chain ways of working across the Alberto Culver/Unilever network.

+ Engaged and enhanced my project management skills to deliver an aggressive six month SAP cutover for 15 location in the US. + Negotiated with the IT/systems group as well as all of the business teams to ensure an on time, on budget deliverable.

+ Spearheaded the quality function from internal control to supply chain focused by embedding quality at the source competencies. + Leveraged the expertise of quality across supply chain functions by building appropriate business processes and linkages. + Transformed quality from a post inspection focus to a value added business partner. + Utilized lean philosophy to engage supply chain partners, including value stream mapping, introduction of A3 problem solving, coaching management style, lean plant assessments, layered process auditing, kaizen process improvements and development of a lean roadmap for Operations planning. + Engaged in first ISO (22716 - cosmetic specific) certification program and enhanced technical documentation at the corporate and plant locations through standard work instruction, SOP and policy creation.

Using North American operations as a template, created quality at the source philosophy for our plants and supply base. This transformational approach moved away from post inspection activities and mandated point level quality accountability from supplier through distribution. Began introducing lean/six sigma quality concepts including SIPOC, VSM, 5S and standard work to name a few.

Supply Chain responsibilities in Melrose Park, including a vertically integrated blow molding operation (shampoo and conditioner bottles), management of production and inventory control for 18 manufacturing lines (7 MRP planners) and raw/pack/wip warehouse operations consisting of 36 salaried and union employees.

Responsible for $3.5MM annual operating budget and 45 employees across a three shift operation. Enabled the production cell to operate efficiently by supplying high quality blended shampoo, conditioner, relaxer, lotion, etc.

Responsible for batching and filling dry food products across a three shift operation. Retail/Mass and food service items
