Working in healthcare is personal. At a young age, witnessing an uncle living in a nursing home, a grandfather stricken with Parkinson’s, a grandmother debilitated by Alzheimer’s dementia, a father with COPD saved by a double lung transplant, and now a wife tirelessly working as a front line clinician has shaped my mission to improve our American Healthcare system. In my 17+ professional years in the industry, I have had the privilege in starting, building, and sustaining care delivery programs and models of care for some of the most underserved patients in the healthcare spectrum. Sales, business development, and lasting internal/external relationships opened doors for my career to expand. Career progression has included network development and optimization, product build, market expansion, Medicare/Medicaid contracting and expertise, compliance, quality, finance, budgeting, and most recently ACO cultivation. I’ve managed revenue streams and budgets ranging from several million to nearly 1B. I’ve supported clinical, operational, and sales teams as large as 150 full time interdisciplinary staff.My work and expertise has been highlighted by Senior Housing News, McKnight’s, Milken Institute of Aging, and HBR. I’m a routine contributor to NIC (National Investment Center) and sit on several healthcare advisory boards. - I strive to always grow and build- I am hungry for further developing partnerships - I am comfortable challenging the status quo- I have a proven track record of inspiring others around me to do the same
