Senior Technician

Mountain Audio is an Audio/Visual business located in Southern Ontario. Initially responsible for the installation of paging and sound systems, now Manager of Business Operations. Duties include managing and directing staff, workflow, scheduling, and overall training daily/weekly/monthly projects. Also involved with sales and business development (business expansion) and installations.• Build customer base and provide quality customer service to existing clients through sales presentations, product demonstrations and training seminars for Mimio, Front Row, Bogen, Casio, BrightSign and other products for School Boards and Universities• Research new products and establish relationships with vendors• Installation and operation of Epson, Hitachi, NEC, Casio, Acer, Sony, Toshiba projectors• Prepare quotes using QuickBooks, identify service and product needs, and maintain inventory for current tenders and special projects• Read architect drawings in order to assess needs, calculate material and labour costs, and prepare tender documents for new school construction and renovations• Manage work crew: schedule and organize upcoming jobs (i.e. order parts, set up time with client)• Supervise job sites: supervise the installation of paging systems and educational technology (Front Row, Mimio, Bogen, Smart Boards, projectors etc.)• Oversee Health and Safety Policy (i.e. updating policy, scheduling of training etc.)• Design, install, trouble-shoot and direct the repair of paging systems within the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board
