I also organised and implemented policies, procedures, structures, roles, and responsibilities that outlined and enforced rules of engagement, decision rights, and the accountabilities for the effective management of information assets. In addition, I was responsible for establishing an architecture and a collection of integrated decision-support applications and databases – providing the business community easy access to business data. On top of this, I maintained thorough understanding of the business and data strategy, designing and implementing effective data strategies and systems. Furthermore, I oversaw the collection, storage, management, quality and protection of data, as well as determined where to cut costs and increased revenue based on insights derived from data.
