CurrentDay-to-day duties:• Direct and develop every aspect of retail strategy and launching a new brand into retail, including: Annual Operating Plan, pricing metrics, promotional structures, company profitability, spends, sales forecasting, marketing, merchandising vehicles, trade show exhibiting, sampling events, volume building programming, brand presentations/sell sheets, brokers, and distributors.• Manage, motivate and work alongside a team of 15 direct reports while simultaneously managing 8 brokers and 6 distributors geographically dispersed around the world with a high retention rate owing to detailed and proactive strategic planning that shields the team from last-minute deadlines and rushed orders.• Develop retailer relationships, brand distribution, sales negotiations, fulfillment, invoicing, sell through, brokerage relationships/agreements and distributor relationships/agreements thought consistent and clear communication, follow-up and reputation of honesty and commitment.Accomplishments:• Since our launch into retail in mid-2019, my efforts combined with the team resulted in SkinnyMe being in 6,000+ US retail locations (including all Kroger Banners), 200+ DeCa Military bases, 6 export countries and distributed in large scale US distributors such as UNFI, KeHE and DPI.• In February 2020, I was given the additional duties of Operations Management due to my exceptional performance within the company. o I developed SOPs, managed vendors, production, inventory, fulfillment centers, freight, and contracts. Since taking on the additional role, I streamlined processes, developed an internal framework for SOPs, forecasting, pricing, invoicing, reconciliation, and payables. o One notable achievement is due to my negotiations, we reduced COGs by 20%, improve operational efficiencies and moving up to larger scale vendors/providers.
