Reporting to the Dean of Academic Systems. Responsible for the implementation and delivery of systems information from the Registrar’s area, as well as the Advising and Faculty areas. Supervising a report-writing Associate who utilizes Web-Focus to produce reports, downloads, and population selections for processing. Working within the Registrar’s department to coordinate the various systems being used, which include Sungard Higher Education’s Banner, Focus, Resource-25, Filemaker-Pro, and the various desktop products . Writing Oracle SQL Scripts. Creating / revising Web-Focus reports and menus. Researching technical problems, reviewing programming and coding issues. Development of security roles for academic and student-life systems usage. Researching potential new systems areas to explore to resolve any limitations in services to be delivered, or to expand our offerings. Attend Regional and National Higher Education Conferences to connect and share with other higher ed. leaders. Participate in those Organizations to develop closer working relationship with Vendors and other Educational Facilities. Responsible for Data Integration, Systems performance, Software Modifications and Testing.• Implementation of major system projects {Banner, Web-Focus, SQL, Shell Scripting, SSB, AIX }.• Designed and Implemented Mid-Semester Notices subsystem within Banner and Self-Service. • Designed and Implemented Retention subsystem within Banner and Self-Service.• Designed and Developed new Housing Procedures and Reporting.• Work directly with Vendor on Design of enhancements via SFRC and Summit Sessions

Reported to the VP of Finance and Operations. Responsible for managing the systems operations of a small graduate college where we utilize: Novell, Windows 2003, and AIX and Linux Servers running Informix, SQL and varying applications. Was responsible for hundreds of Workstations {XP} connected with an underground, 1 GB Fiber-optic network infrastructure, as well as wireless nodes in the public gathering areas and Student Housing. Managing Internet connectivity through T1’s provided by a 3rd Party. Coordinated Student Email and Integrated Distance Education program for our entire enrollment. Managed our Web presence through the efforts of our Webmaster. Long-term strategic planning for technology advancement on-campus. Prepared special reports for Board and President. Directly responsible for Fiscal & Capital Budget.
