I have more than 30 years of experience as a civil and criminal litigator in Federal and State courts and concentrate my practice on criminal and civil tax controversies, white-collar criminal matters, and civil litigation. I represent clients facing criminal charges in state and federal courts, individuals under government investigation, and taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and the NY State Department of Taxation. My commercial litigation practice includes banking, ERISA benefits and contributions, and securities matters. I have successfully represented clients subject to claims involving professional malpractice, labor and employment disputes, tax shelters, property allocation, matrimonial disputes, probate disputes, and disputes arising out of the misappropriation of databases and trade secrets.I also serve as a mediator to the Commercial Part of the New York State Supreme Court, New York County. Prior to entering the legal profession, I served in the United States Peace Corps in Panama.
