I also hold a BA in Conflict Resolution and an MSc in International Relations.I'm a detail-oriented professional with seven years of experience and a demonstrated history in public policy, non-profit, international affairs, higher education, community development, and disaster risk reduction. Additionally, I am fluent in English, Kiswahili, and Arabic, effectively communicating and writing in multiple languages. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and STATA.I work as a Special Advisor for 2024 CRCP under UNHCR’s RAG. I have previous experience with the UNHCR, where I worked for three years as a Tertiary Connected Learning Coordinator in Kakuma Camp, Kenya. My job entailed assisting with the day-to-day running of the Turkana West University Campus, five Technical Institutions, and seven Instant Network Schools monitoring. As Tertiary Connected Learning Coordinator, I helped plan, implement, and report Microsoft Project inputs at Turkana West University Campus.At the Instant Network Schools, I coordinated the Microsoft project. This entailed advancing 15,000 young refugees and the host community's digital skills and training using digital equipment and resources. In addition, I oversaw and directed the thirty-five ICT Coaches in seven Instant Network Schools (INS) and Youth Centers in Kakuma camp. I received direct reports from the coaches who enrolled our participants in training sessions. I worked as a Lecturer at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kenya for three years— from 2017 to 2019. I provided tutelage exercises in conflict resolution, international relations, diplomacy, political science, community development, and disaster management.As a Lecturer, I taught in various contexts, ranging from small group tutorials to extensive lectures, ensuring that material and delivery methods fulfilled the defined learning objectives for each session. Leadership: I have held numerous leadership positions, including being an elected student leader at MMUST. I served on the SIPASA Student Advisory Committee at Columbia SIPA.
