Key Responsibilities:• Conducting and preparing building reports for a range of different building classes and clients.• Strong attention to detail in identifying building defects, causes of water ingress, structural issues, and combustible cladding material.• Compiling various types of reports, many of which are PNVCAT2 compliant and are used within DBDRV applications and VCAT proceedings. Reports are produced in conjunction with the relevant Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, building plans and any other regulations applicable.• Drafting of detailed costing reports. Used to estimate the project cost of rectification actions for defective items or reconstruction of properties.• Primary organiser for building inspections and point of contact with clients. One of the few selected team members that handle coordinating and scheduling inspections with clients, Body Corporates, committee members, managing agents, landlords and tenants.• Liaising with contractors and overseeing works. Managing and working side-by-side with a range of contractors from structural engineers, forensic plumbers, CCTV drainage inspectors, and drone pilots.Achievements:• Published an article on combustible cladding that was posted on the company’s social media platform and referenced in an article by the Australian Financial Review.• Conducted over 20+ private lot inspections side-by-side with one of Melbourne’s prestigious developers over a two-day booking. Received personal appreciation for professionalism and left a 5-star review on the company’s Google profile.

Returned to Brimbank City Council for a second internship. Was referred to this internship by my previous Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:• Performed Roadside asset condition surveys of Council areas. These were uploaded directly onto the Council's database for future maintenance and capital works.• Refined the digital data so they were able to be queried within the Council database.
