A 30 year veteran in various facets of precision fabricated metal , leaning towards the architectural / artistic , but always interested in the scientific / structural aspects of the medium as I spent the first 15 years in the metal trades working more in the industrial end than the artistic , this had a major influence on my artistic endeavors ( which I've been pursuing since my introduction to stainless steel in 1986 ) .Specialties: I eat , burn & dream in stainless steel , most metal fabricators tend to shy away from stainless because of certain idiosyncrasies common to the material .I worked for an architectural railing company for 3 years , the manager of the shop who had been there for 13 years had a saying " in stainless steel , there are no rules " To me , this was absolute blasphemy , there are many rules to stainless steel , one only needs to learn the discipline involved .I have mastered this discipline.
