    Regulation of membrane lipid asymmetry in apoptotic cells in the nematode C. elegans. I developed genetically encoded sensors for lipids (phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine) exposed on the external leaflet of the plasma membrane in living animals. Using these tools I discovered a genetic pathway controlling the exposure of phosphatidylserine on apoptotic cells.

I have generated over 600 unique expression plasmids during this and other related projects.
