Joining Paragon enabled me to take my career to the next stages offering me the opportunity to further implement and manage the security division of the company. Paragon were keen to take on someone with an in-depth understanding of security systems along with a comprehensive knowledge of the detailing, standards and accreditations to support running a department. To achieve a successful department there have been many duties and actions to carry out and put in place, to name a few of the stand out items; I have successfully managed the new website design, sourced and managed new business, enabling the department to develop at a very desirable rate, managed and executed sales for existing clients, carried out design and order processing for intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.As Security Systems Manager the recruitment of new staff within the security division has also fallen within my duties for the initial screening and first-round interview stages, before meeting with the Directors upon success. I also carry out security screenings as per BS7858 for new engineers and trainees starting within the division and action ongoing staff training.
