Motor Show Events was formed by James Martin (Creative Marketer), Karl Rushen (Event organiser and self-proclaimed petrol head) and All Advertising (Ad Agency). Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park

As many of you may know I was a big part of turning the failing business around. I spent nearly five years at Marsh Farm. I enjoyed helping turn around the farm park from losing just over half a £million quid a year with about 80.000 visitors to the thriving family attraction it is now with over 220.000 visitors a year, However as Marsh Farm grew so did I – and it was time for me to for me to move on for now, Big events have always been my passion and I have always dreamt of one day starting my own marketing and events business putting on festivals, car shows and events. With the support of the amazing team at Marsh Farm and Partyman I took the first step towards doing what I really love.Looking back at my time at Marsh Farm some of the highlights have been producing Kids Fest into one of the most successful kid’s festivals in the UK as well as organising numerous other successful events. As well as winning many awards for the farm and its events. I had some great times and created lasting memories not just for the visitors but for everyone involved. I was responsible for bring the idea of the events to life from concept, though to development and finally the finished product. From event production to event promotion and ticket sales, this project is a real pleasure to work on; my responsibilities include liaising with venue management, Universitcites, arranging press and media coverage, sponsorship for the events. “Following a rebranding exercise Rubicon People employed me to” Increase Marketing and brand awareness, attract clients and candidates, oversee social media and website management, attend events and job fairs. My role involved making people smile and I got to do this every day: it was possibly the best job in Dorset.” It was a real dream posting – I know that if Carlsberg did recruitment rather than drinks, even they couldn’t have come up with a job as good as this one.My task was to blaze a purple trail across Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset and West Hampshire in an eye-catching VW Camper that serves as my mobile office. I also worked closely with the businesses development manager on generating new leads, assist the operations manager on servicing a variety of existing clients with visits. I would also select events and locations in the area which would suit best for promoting the Rubicon Brand.
