Mr. Masterlark has over 20 years of experience in risk related fields including Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), Safe Shutdown, and Fire Protection. He has developed, coordinated, and led major Fire Protection and PRA projects for both PWR and BWR nuclear plants. He has been responsible for the management of business operations and substantial teams of technical talent performing services related to NFPA 805 transitions, PRA, Fire PRA, Thermal-Hydraulic Analysis, and Fire Protection Engineering.Mr. Masterlark has experience with both BWR and PWR plant systems, and as a Senior Consultant he has experience with nuclear plant engineering, design, operations and licensing. His particular specialties are with PRA, Fire Protection, and Mechanical Systems design and maintenance. He has over 18 years of nuclear plant experience, and while working for nuclear plant operators, he was responsible for the management of the PRA, Fire Protection, and Safe Shutdown groups. Mr. Masterlark has also been involved with the development, implementation, and maintenance of major engineering programs, including Safe Shutdown (10 CFR 50 Appendix R and NFPA 805), Fire Protection, and Internal and External Events PRA. He also has extensive experience with the NRC’s Significance Determination Process, and has been a utility licensee reviewer of the associated methods and procedures.As key member of AMMI Risk Solutions executive team, Mr. Masterlark provides leadership and strategic positioning for global specialty engineering, risk analysis, project design and procurement support to international and domestic clients in long term strategic planning, capital and maintenance project design and operational recovery.
